Music World/Columbia Records will release Unexpected, the new pop/dance solo album from Michelle Williams, on August 12th. the album will feature such producers as Jim Jonsin (Danity Kane, Lil Wayne), Rico Love (Usher, Omarion), Wayne Wilkins (No Doubt, Pink), Andrew Frampton (Natasha Bedingfield, Kylie Minogue), and Stargate (Beyoncé, Mariah Carey). the album seems to be very mid-tempo with heavy dance and house influences. the only song that’s sounding like it doesn’t fit into the mix is Stargate produced track “Stop This Car.” we’ll see though.
